We're Walking the Talk
If you've landed on this blog post by clicking on our ad in the CSPG e-newsletter, thanks for clicking! Enlighten is super proud to be a sponsor of the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists. And an added benefit is that we get to spread the word about ourselves and what we offer the oil and gas industry here in Calgary and around the world.
Perhaps Enlighten is new to you. Perhaps you have been noodling around our website to find out more about us. In the unlikely event our other content has been too subtle, we'd like to take a moment to outline our core principles. Our primary concern is helping our clients tackle their challenges through our expertise in stratigraphy, sedimentology, hydrodynamics, geomechanics, petrophysics and more. Another aspect that we hope shines through, is that we are passionate about technically rigourous geoscience. We also believe in giving back to the society in which we are citizens. We do this by donating 5 to 10 percent of our gross revenue to charity. Some of the charities we support are listed on our Charitable Giving page. And finally, we are very serious about doing all this with a sense of humour.
Geology and Geomechanics with Intention and Skill
We think our sponsorship of the CSPG newsletter for 2018/2019 provides an avenue to demonstrate our core Enlighten principles of client focus, technical excellence, and community involvement.
Here is how it's going to work:
Each month we will offer technical content designed to assist your company’s efforts on a key play in the WCSB. We're not talking generic freebies here. We think our work has value. It'll be more of a trade of sorts. Keep reading.
We will establish giving campaigns with a selection of non-profit organizations. A donation to the campaign will get you not only the technical goodie of the month, but also a matching credit (up to a specified limit) towards any of our projects or services. Think of it as Enlighten making our contribution in advance.
Never heard of such a thing? Good! We like to be original. We're looking forward to kicking off this crazy idea in April, so stay tuned (which, by the way, you can easily do by subscribing to our blog!).
